I am a PhD student in Linguistics at The University of Maryland, College Park. I am working with Colin Phillips, Naomi Feldman, and Kate Mooney, trying to understand the intersection of psycholinguistics, phonology, and cognitive (neuro)science.
My research interests are related to mechanisms used to process phonological patterns. How are phonological patterns structured? How incremental is phonological processing? How does the brain encode sound patterns? By approaching these questions, I aim to understand how phonological processing is different/ similar to sentence-level processing.
I am also interested in how language interacts with other cognitive domains, especially working memory and music cognition.
